5 Best Rooftop Bars and Restaurants in Pattaya
Pattaya, being westerly facing, is ideal for taking in some stunning evening sunsets. The weather is usually fine for the most part of the year and the nearby islands give the perfect backdrop to watch the sun gracefully say farewell for the day. There are lots of fantastic places where you can take in these views but arguably the best are from high up on the rooftops of the bars and restaurants of Pattaya.
Of course, the views are certainly a bonus but there is so much more to a high quality rooftop bar or restaurant. We have gone to great lengths to pick out the 5 best rooftop bars and restaurants in Pattaya, the ones offering fabulous food, a relaxing ambience and an all-round superb experience. These are our choices for the best places to have a complete wining and dining experience, just that slightly bit closer to the stars.
Horizon Bar and Restaurant – 34th Floor, Hilton Hotel
You would be hard pressed to find anywhere better than the Horizon Rooftop Bar and Restaurant in Pattaya. From its 34th floor location, you get panoramic views looking out across all of Pattaya. Due to its height, a pleasant breeze passes through the air that offers light relief after a day in the baking Pattaya heat.
The outside area is divided into 2 sections, the first is an enclosed dining area that has floor-to-ceiling windows so your view is not hampered in anyway. The second area is the exquisite rooftop terrace that has large sofas where you can just sit back and chill out. The dimmed, neon blue lights add to the atmosphere leaving you to enjoy the incredible backdrop. This is something of a romantic venue and a superb place to take a loved one.

The Roof Sky Bar & Restaurant – Siam@Siam Hotel

Here you will find a wide selection of international dishes and elaborate cocktails, all of which can be enjoyed in a family-friendly environment.
The restaurant area although covered is very open allowing the breeze and fresh air to come in whilst you are protected by glass barriers. The floor is covered with high-quality artificial grass and it does indeed have something of a garden party ambience with comfy sofas and swings.
The 25th Floor is where the parties really start and the hotel’s pool is available to non-guests so long as they purchase at least one drink. It is little surprise that this place is so popular with the young expat community in the city. You will be served cocktails whilst listening to Bossa Nova beats and a projector displays old movies in English and foreign languages.
The Roof Sky Bar & Restaurant opens at 7am and closes at midnight.
