This is one of my regular haunts during the Australian Football season, aka as AFL. Occasionally when my team the Sydney Swans are not on free to air TV I make a beeline for i-rovers.
They have a huge number of TV screens, around 17 all up, but the one near the dart board is my preferred position. i-rovers is tucked away right in the corner of LK Metro which is one of the most popular entertainment streets in Pattaya. There is an outdoor terrace for those who prefer fresh air, and of course there are screens there as well so you miss none of the action.
Screens, screens and more screens.
Walking Street is Pattaya’s busiest street for tourists, however LK Metro is where the locals tend to gather. Believe me your money will go a lot further here in LK than it will in Walking Street.
i-rovers happy hours are 3 pm to 7 pm Monday to Thursday and 6 pm to 8 pm on Friday, during these times all beers are only B65 and house spirits 70. Take along your wife or girlfriend, in fact take both if you wish, they will be very happy sampling from the i-rovers large cocktail selection, and you will be happy only paying the happy hour price of B100 for each one.
Some of the very friendly i-rovers girls.
As well as lots of TV screens there are lots of waitresses to make sure your glass is never empty.
New owner Darren Webster is an Aussie who loves his sport, he took over the bar almost a year ago and has maintained the high standard of international sports presentation that i-rover’s patrons have been accustomed to for many years.
The Big Buster breakfast only B129.
Every day there is a food special for only B169, my favourite are the meatballs which is the Thursday special. Having said that I must admit the burgers are always hard to beat. Take a look below at the menu, lots there to choose from.
At i-rovers the guys play darts every single day, and there is a webcam right over the dart board. This is a huge advantage for those guys who may have a suspicious girlfriend at home. Simply let her tune into the dart cam and wave to her every 20 minutes or so to prove you are where you said you would be.
To check out Pattaya beach just take a look at my webcam.
