Do you like Japanese cuisine but find it hard to locate a good venue to sample the delicacies from the land of the rising sun?
Well this restaurant in Tree Town on Soi Buakhao may solve your problem. It is owned by Hiroki, who is originally from Osaka in Japan but has lived in the land of smiles since late 2017. He opened the restaurant soon after arriving in Pattaya in the ever expanding area that is Tree Town.
The venue employs three people and a fully trained chef, to ensure the food is tasty, well presented and served in a courteous manner.
There are three areas to this premises and like most of these new trendy venues in Tree Town, customers can sit outside, indoors or on the roof. There is seating for around 40 guests at Akatsuki.
From the outside, you can browse their comprehensive menu and if you wish, have a seat at the entrance on one of the metal framed, wooden topped tables and chairs, which are ideal for all weather conditions.
Inside, wood features a lot in the decor and of course there is further seating to be found. Wander upstairs and enjoy the rooftop tables, with artificial grass and trees setting the scene. From here you can see much of what is going on in the surrounding area.
The restaurant is spotless and the staff are friendly and courteous at all times.
As expected from a quality Japanese venue, there is a lot of seafood on offer. Squid, Octopus, Salmon and much more can be found on their bill of fare.
From the grill you can select from items such as Pork and Ginger, Grilled Hamachi, Beef, a Yakitori Set, Meatballs and many other delicacies.
You will discover a good range of deep fried options including Shrimp, Asparagus, Chicken Namban to name only a few.
Of course you have to include the world famous and very popular Sushi options in a Japanese restaurant’s menu and you will find these favourites too.

You can enjoy a Japanese beer or one of the popular ones sold around Pattaya. Sake, whiskies, rums, vodkas and wines are also available.
