Introduction

This excellent traditional Japanese eating house can be found on Second Road close to the Dolphin Roundabout. It opened for business in 2014, bringing something special to the people of Pattaya and its many annual visitors.

There are 18 staff employed at the venue, including seven top chefs, which may give you an idea of how popular this venue is.

It can cater for 200 people at any given time, catering for the thousands of Japanese tourists and locals who enjoy the food from the land of the rising sun.

The Venue

This spacious restaurant offers clean, modern  surroundings to enjoy fantastic food.

Customers can make use of standard tables and chairs or sit on traditional Japanese tables, which basically means sitting at floor level – something that most Thais will have no problem with.

The tan coloured floor is spotlessly clean, matched by cream coloured walls and lantern style shades hang from the ceiling to provide the ambience. There are large tables so that family gatherings or business meals are well catered for and of course those who arrive on tour buses in their droves.

It really is an excellent venue, well laid out as it aims to fit in with the top restaurants of the city.

The Cuisine

We are no experts in Japanese cuisine but it is apparent that the menu offers a wide range of delicacies.

The menu is generally written in Japanese but there are English translations which may or may not help you. However, images of each item on the menu show what the dish is.

Items such as Gyu Don, which is rice and beef in a mild sweet sauce or Sake Don, which is salmon and rice in a soy sauce.

Tori Shio Jaga, Saki Karbutoni, Piman Yaki, Jagaimo Cheese and Thai Fusal are all present on the bill of fare.

The menu contains everyone’s favourite sushi dishes in a wide and varied selection of food.

The Bar

You will find Heineken, Singha, Asahi, along with a good selection of Japanese beers in both draught and bottled formats.

Wines, spirits, fruit juices and soft drinks can all be purchased at Anego.

Conclusion

Fantastic food and beverages in a stunning venue, where the service is exceptional.

If Japan offers the style and tastes you enjoy, then this popular and busy venue is for you.
