The Baku Cafe is to be found in an unmarked Soi which sits just off Soi Buakhao and Soi Buakhao 15. The road doesn’t appear on Google Maps but if you visit the company’s website or Facebook page, the Baku Guest House and Bar are clearly marked on the map, making it easy to find.
It sits directly behind Cloud9 on Soi 15 or if you if you turn in from Soi Buakhao at Backpackers, walk a few metres you will see the cafe and bar on your right.
This is a quiet street, ideal for drinks and food in serene conditions but walk back to Soi Buakhao and you are in the heart of Pattaya’s nightlife, with LK Metro a short distance away.
As always, there are taxis, taxi motorbikes and baht buses close by to get you around town.
The Baku Cafe is part of the Baku Group, which has business interests around the world. In Pattaya, they own the splendid Baku Guest House, a luxurious holiday residence nearby, featuring some of the most elegant, modern and fully fitted rooms you will find in Pattaya – and just as important – they are affordable to all.

Once again, the company have gone for style and charm with their decor of the cafe/bar, which has a mixture of European and Thai influences.
It seats around 60 people on an array of comfortable sofas and chairs. Customers can sit at the bar or on the terrace outside. It is confined within three glass walls, which allows plenty of natural light to enter the venue. In the evenings, the ambient lighting is provided by a decorative fibre optic lighting system.
The flooring is of a wooden decking style and the interior is fully air conditioned.
The bar is long, almost running the full length of the venue and they have a modern fully equipped kitchen, where top chefs prepare the food.
The Baku Group always provide class establishments and this one is no exception. It is comfortable, pleasant and verging on luxurious but once again, the prices will not break the bank.
The bar is well stocked with an assortment of beers, ciders, spirits, wines, shots, soft drinks, coffees and teas. Should you wish something more extravagant, they also provide a range of cocktails.
Simply take a seat and enjoy a drink with your partner or friends in this excellent venue.
They also provide a selection of smoothies, offering diverse and fascinating flavours.
A special mention has to be given to their coffee menu. They have gone to great lengths, using a wealth of experience to obtain some of the finest coffees from every corner of the earth. The same can be said of their tea options.
Described as “Gourmet Teas and Coffees”, if they are worth drinking Baku will almost certainly have them on offer.
Sample coffees from Brazil, Columbia,Indonesia, Java or Kenya to name a few or if tea is more to your liking they have a wide range of English, Indian and Thai traditional varieties for you to enjoy.
Once again, Baku have left no stone unturned as they seek perfection. Their bill of fare offers an extensive range of cuisines from around the world.
Commencing with the appetisers, you could indulge in chicken wings, spring rolls, chicken dips, garlic bread, nachos or plates with a variety of nibbles designed to be shared to name a few.
They also have a comprehensive all day breakfast option, which is always popular. Select from bacon, sausages, pancakes, beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast and eggs in your preferred style.
Staying on the theme of breakfast, you could enjoy the green and gold avocado option, made from eggs, avocado, halloumi Greek cheese, bread, salt, pepper and vinegar. There are a variety of options available for your first meal of the day.
If breakfast is not what you are after, try their chilli dogs or one of their delicious omelettes with a variety of tasty fillings, or maybe a Tuscan tuna wrap or Spanish potato salad.
They offer a variety of steak, pork or chicken open sandwiches and a selection of burgers.
From around the world you could have paella, chicken tandoori, a delicious Indian curry, kebabs, samosa with a range of fillings, biriani dishes, guacamole from Mexico or the very popular poutine from Canada, a form or French fries and cheese topped with gravy.
From Italy, they have a number of pasta dishes, soups from across the globe and a variety of fresh breads.
From Thailand why not try crispy or steamed fish, a Thai salad or a number of other delicacies from the Kingdom.

The statement “they have something for everyone” is often overused but it Baku’s case it is an understatement.
This is an exceptional venue for people to sample quality food from around the world, accompanied by a wonderful selection of teas and coffees or alcohol based beverages.

The Baku Cafe is superb and well worth a visit and you will not pay a fortune for the pleasure of doing so.
