A lady known as Tai, moved to Pattaya around 1990 from Phetchabun Province.
She opened this bar in LK Metro in 2012 and currently employs six staff at the venue.
LK Metro is one of Pattaya’s best entertainment locations. It is like a mini Walking Street with Go-Go bars, music venues, karaoke bars, restaurants, street vendors and some of the sexiest girls in the city work in the various establishments here.
It is accessible from Second Road via Soi Diana or from Soi Buakhao.
Cafe Silk is a forty seater drinking house, which is open to the front, offering views along LK Metro, which in itself, can be wonderful entertainment. There is seating outside, in the form of bench tables and stools, with further tables and chairs inside the premises.
Flags hang from the ceiling, suggesting everyone is welcome at this busy little bar.
Two televisions display any sporting action that may be available and there is the popular pool table, for anyone who likes to knock the balls around the baize.
Like most venues in the city, free Wi-Fi is available for customer use.
A well stocked bar is towards the rear, where it is possible for you to sit and chat away to the barmaid.
The walls have a number of photos or framed football shirts to give additional interest to the bar’s customers, some are worth checking out.
The ambience comes from coloured lighting above and fans ensure you never get too warm.
And should you feel like flopping back on a comfortable sofa with your partner, then you can do that at Cafe Silk.
You will find all the popular brands of beers here. Singha, San Miguel, Leo, Chang and others can be purchased and served to you ice cold.
Whiskies, rums, vodkas, gins, liqueurs, shots and wines are also on their drinks list.
Fancy a coffee? Treat yourself to a Boncafe from the bar.
And if you prefer not to drink alcohol, sit back and relax with a soft drink.
A fun bar, where the ladies love to drink, chat and play pool with their customers.
Can you beat them on their home table? Bet you can’t.
