In June, 2017, he and a few other bars in Rompho, introduced a new competition, designed in such a way that anyone entering the bar, can join in. It operates on a Saturday evening, with some of the takings being donated to charity.
It comprises of three games. Standard 8 Ball International Rules, followed by Scotch Doubles and finally Killer Pool. Don’t worry if you do not know the games, the boss and customers will happily teach you as you go along.
This is very much a fun event, not to be taken seriously. The goal is to encourage people to visit the bars and get involved, meet new friends and generally have fun.
And it is not expensive. If you have a spare few hundred baht, you can take part and that will probably cover you drinks too.
