Introduction

So here we have a bar with a name that asks you to drop in and see them. And why not? Especially if you are in the Soi Diana area of the city. The venue sits on a very busy street that is the gateway from Second Road to LK Metro and Soi Buakhao and is home to many bars, restaurants, tattoo shops, massage parlours, hotels and street vendors.

Do Drop Inn is owned by Lawan, who is original from Buriram, a province that is north-east of Pattaya, on the Cambodian border. She has lived in the city since 2012, opening this business venture in June 2017.

The bar provides employment to six full time staff, who ensure their customers are made welcome and looked after during their visit to the bar.

The Venue

The bar is open to the front with seating here for those who like to people watch as they make their way along Soi Diana. Stools are provided at the benches that sit either side of the entrance.

Above the bar’s front is a large sign with a pretty lady playing pool and the bar’s name. In fact it is difficult to forget the name of the venue for all the large washable beer mats have its name emblazoned on them.

Customers can also sit at the rear of the premises at the service area, where they can chat away to the ladies as the go about their duties.

There is further seating in the form of big high back stools close to the service area, taking capacity to around 25 people.

The walls are painted using pastel colours, with an assortment of framed images and flags, adding some interest to the venue, plus there is an odd pot plant situated around the building.

Entertainment comes in the form of televisions, which will generally display YouTube music videos.

Do Drop In And Have A Drink

Lawan and her staff can offer you a range of bottled beers with favourites like Leo, Tiger and Chang being amongst the list available.

Vodkas, rums, gins, liqueurs and imported or local whiskies are also to be found at the bar. Wines, shots and of course soft drinks can be purchased too.

Where required, drinks are served ice cold for your pleasure.

Conclusion

The venue has a good catchment area as people pass by en-route to the Go-Go bars and music venues nearby. The staff are friendly and will always be happy to see you, whether you are returning customer or a new face to the bar.

The prices on drinks are very good so you can enjoy without worrying about the bill.
