El Greco can be found in Soi Bongkot. The street runs from South Pattaya Road at the crossroads with Soi Kho Pai. El Greco is at the opposite end, as you head towards Third Road.
El Greco is a Greek and Mediterranean restaurant, which specialises in home made produce from traditional recipes from the region. Chef Angelika has amassed years of experience in her homeland in and around Athens before venturing into the restaurant trade in Pattaya. She and her five staff provide an excellent service and of course deliver tasty food from the Mediterranean area The restaurant at the time of writing (May 2017) is undergoing major changes as it expands to accommodate more customers. The plan is to be able to cater for over 60 diners at any given time. There is seating both inside and out at the venue. Plants adorn the restaurant and ceiling fans help maintain the temperature at a cool level.
As with any Greek restaurant, you would expect to find delicacies such as moussaka and this venue is no different. You will find pastitsio, spinach pie, pies stuffed with white and feta cheeses, enveloped in a flaky pastry, amongst other delicious offerings. Spaghetti and a variety of other pastas all cooked based on traditional recipes are present on their extensive menu. Choose from kebabs, chicken, meatballs, lamb, burgers, a variety of fish offerings, and let’s not forget, this is Thailand, so it is fitting that they afford their customers a Thai bill of fare. They specialise in Greek salads, which are always worth a try. El Greco like to provide large portions but with small prices but if the size of the meal is too much for some, they will cater for you and reduce accordingly.
Enjoy a red or white wine with your meal, or maybe choose a beer or one of their many spirits and with this being a Greek restaurant, El Greco sell the much loved Ouzo. You could always sample a Greek coffee or tea or even a soft drink may take your fancy.
The staff are friendly and welcome guests with a warm smile. Service is fast and they are happy to cater for the customers requirements.
