The Indian eating house is located just off Third Road on an unnamed street that heads towards Second Road. Basically, if heading towards Phratamnak, you pass through the lights at Soi Regional Land Office and take the fourth turning on your right. Garam Masala is 100 metres or so on your right hand side.

It is owned by Chandu, who moved from India to Pattaya in 2008, opening this venue in 2015.

He employs ten full time staff to assist with the daily operations, including experienced chefs, who deliver a taste of Indian cuisine,

The Venue

The building is easy to locate as it features blue lighting that hangs in strips along the windows of the venue. It also has a pink sign high above the door with the company name emblazoned on it.

Open the door and step inside this spacious restaurant, where you will discover red topped wooden tables and matching chairs. Pillars support the ceiling, adding a touch of elegance to the dining area.

Stylish lighting provides a bright ambience throughout this air conditioned setting. On the opposite side, the tables are the same, apart from the fact the tops are blue.

At a glance you can imagine this is a venue that would cater for large bus parties and you would almost certainly be right in many instances.

This is a large premises that can seat in the region of 250 people at any given time.

The Food

Now you may wonder how ten staff can look after 250 people or the expected figure of 500 customers per day. This is because this is a buffet service, where customers come in, pay a set fee and help themselves to the delicious food on offer.

You will discover a wide range of options when you browse the buffet area. You may see Chicken Masala or Chicken Tandoori for example.

Curries will usually be on the menu for you to help yourself to or a Korma, Aloo Gobi, Paneers, Koftas, Samosa, Pakora and Bhaji dishes will often be available as you wander along the range.

You will find Lamb, Beef, Chicken, Seafood and Vegetable dishes, so basically something for everyone.

The food is rich, with wonderful aromas and flavours, beautifully presented in stainless steel dishes.

The choice is always substantial as rices and breads help make up the available selections.


A fantastic buffet, with succulent food, offering a taste of Indian cuisine. If you love Asian food, you are in for a treat.

They have a party room for anyone wishing to host their birthday celebrations or other event here.

It is spacious, with plenty of seating.
