Introduction

This is a German/Thai restaurant that can be found in Soi 33 off Naklua Road in the north of the city of Pattaya.

It is owned by Jurgen, who believe it or not, comes from Germany. He has lived in Pattaya since 2013, opening this restaurant around the same time.

With ten friendly staff to look after the customers at Golden Orchidee, you will find the service to be of a high standard and always with courtesy and a friendly smile.

Soi 33 is lined with assorted businesses. You will discover bars, massage shops, travel agencies, visa services and coffee shops along the length of this road.

The Venue

With 80 seats available at this diner, you should have no problem locating a table for two or for a family outing.

The restaurant is spacious with an open front allowing views of the street. The tables are dark wood, adorned with white table cloths in this stylish restaurant, which blends with the tan coloured walls and flooring.

There is alternative styles of seating including high backed stools with tables resembling cut down trees, which offer you a range of seating choices.

There is a well stocked bar offering an excellent range of beverages to accompany your meal.

A glass cabinet stores salad items and other cold foodstuffs, ready to be served to customers upon ordering.

The venue offers pleasant and acceptable surroundings where you and friends or family can relax and enjoy your meal.

The Menu

The bill of fare is written in German seeing as it caters for the German community but they also provide English explanations, for those who speak English.

The menu covers a diverse range of food, where you can select items like Medallions of Pork with a Pepper and Cognac Sauce. Sound awesome.

Or how about Grilled Salmon and Shrimps served on a skewer with a Mixed Salad?

Maybe something lighter, like their Curried Sausages and French Fries or Scrambled Eggs, with Shrimp served on toast.

Seafood lovers will adore the fish section with items like Baked Fillet of Fish with Tartar Sauce and Salad. Spaghetti, Prawns and Mussels served with Garlic, Tomatoes, Olives and Parmesan Cheese is another tasty option.

Home made food is a speciality here. Try their Braised Beef in Red Wine or Spaghetti Bolognaise for example.

They have a huge selection of Thai dishes covering all the favourites known in Pattaya. They offer a variety of Stir Fries and Rice and Noodle based dishes.

Tom Yam Chicken, Clear Soup with Tofu, Pork with Noodles, Chicken and Green Curry to name but a few items from this section.

Overall you should find something that appeals to everyone when you visit this fine restaurant.

Drinks

Fancy something different? Then treat yourself to a cocktail. Choose from Pina Colada, Tequila Sunrise, a Long Island or a Blue Pattaya for example.

They have a good range of coffees and teas available plus soft drinks.

Beers served ice cold for your pleasure, wines, spirits and liqueurs are all on offer from their bar.

Conclusion

This is a really nice venue, serving quality food, served by friendly staff.

Prices are reasonable so if in the Naklua area, check them out and sample some German cuisine.
