Introduction

This venue is located in Soi White House, which if you are unfamiliar with, is a street that is accessed from Jomtien Beach Road in the south of the city.

It is owned by Gibb, who has lived in Pattaya since 2008, opening the venue two years later.

He employs 14 staff to take care of his customers. You will find them to be welcoming and courteous during your time spent at the Golden Sand and the expected friendly smile is never far away.

The Venue

The entrance to the restaurant is open but almost concealed by two advertising boards featuring the food on offer. In addition to the photos to be seen on the boards, there is a menu either side of the passageway, for you to peruse before stepping inside.

Coloured lampshades hang above the entrance, along with a number of small flags. Once inside, the premises opens up into a 90 seater venue, capable of catering for larger groups or romantic meals for two.

As you pass by palm trees and plants into the venue, you will see wooden tables adorned with table cloths.

Customers can sit inside or out at this venue, the choice is yours.

On certain nights, you will be treated to live music, once you have enjoyed a tasty meal of course.

The restaurant offers a relaxing, clean setting for you to sit down and order something from the bill of fare but what delicacies can you select from? Let’s see.

The Menu

The options available are aplenty from their comprehensive menu. you can start with a range of appetisers or one of the many soups, before venturing on to the main courses.

The mains offer items such as Grilled Lamb Chops or a succulent Duck Breast served in an Orange Sauce.

Spare Ribs, Spaghetti Bolognese, a delicious Peppered Steak or maybe you prefer a T-bone Steak, the choice is yours and there is good variation on the menu.

They offer a Smoked Salmon Salad, Chicken Steak and even a Hot Dog, which may appeal to the younger generation.

Good old Fish and Chips, Baked Prawns with Garlic Bread and an range of other European style edibles can be ordered.

Thai food is of course available. Select from Glass Noodle Soup with Minced Pork or a tasty Chicken and Coconut Soup.

Fried Rice with either Chicken, Pork or Seafood or a Stir Fry with Vegetables or a Red Snapper in Sweet and Sour Sauce can be found on the menu.

There is Lobster, River Prawns, Squid or Crab, all freshly caught and cooked to perfection for you to enjoy.

The menu provides something for everyone, covering a range of styles and food.

The Bar

So you have your food and now fancy something to drink. You can sample a glass or red or white wine depending on your choice for food.

Or they have draught Chang available plus all the popular bottled beers including Tiger, Leo and San Miguel.

Whiskies, liqueurs, vodkas, rums and gins or Spy Classic for instance could be more to your liking. A tea or a coffee or maybe a soft drink for anyone who is driving, brings the drinks list to its conclusion.

Conclusion

This is a very nice venue, offering good food and drink at reasonable prices.

They have daily specials advertised at the venue. With friendly staff and a good location, you are all set for a tasty meal and maybe a bit of live music.
