Kent from Denmark, has lived in Thailand since 2004. He opened this hotel in 2009 and currently employs 14 staff to assist in the running of the hotel.
It is located on Soi Whitehouse, an alley leading from Beach Roach in Jomtien. This area is popular with tourists and expats, due to its long sandy beach, its many bars and restaurants, apartments, hotels and numerous small businesses.
This is one of those venues that never closes. No matter when you need assistance, you will find one of the staff here willing to help you.
The hotel features eleven rooms, two of which are family orientated. The rooms feature large comfortable beds, plenty of storage for clothing, air conditioning, bedside tables and lamps, a safe and of course an en-suite.
The larger rooms have two beds and tables and chairs for the family to gather around.
You will also discover a mini-bar and cable TV. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, with pleasant decor being the order of the day.
The menu here is predominantly based on Danish cuisine and Thai food.
You can dine al fresco as part of the dining area offers outdoor seating. Inside the venue, there are tables to cater for most groups from a dinner for two or a family gathering for lunch.
Plants and various other greenery are present in many areas of this 130 seater dining area and bar, with portable fans available should you get too hot.
Carved wooden ornamental figures provide additional interests around the premises.
Overall you will find the restaurant offers pleasant surroundings and a good level of comfort.
As mentioned above, the cuisine on offer is mainly Danish. Expect to see Danish Meatballs with Red Cabbage and Sauce or Beef with Onion and Cucumber.
They offer Home Made Burgers, Pork Chops, Chicken Breast or if you have the notion for a steak, you can sample one of their Australian Fillets with a Mushroom Sauce.
Peppered Steak and Fish and Chips, ensure everyone should find something they can enjoy.
Lovers of Thai food can order local dishes like Spicy Beef with Glass Noodles or Tom Kha served with either Chicken, Beef, Pork, Fish or Prawns.
Stir Fried Mixed Vegetables, Sweet and Sour dishes, various Meat or Seafood offerings cooked in Basil, Green Curry or a Thai Omelette are all available.
There are of course many other options from a good selection on their bill of fare.
We must not forget breakfast for they offer an “all you can eat” buffet breakfast every day.
Customers of Hotel Danmark are welcome to try one of their fruit juices. If you wish something stronger, they have Spy Classic, red and white wines, tequila, whiskies, local beers such as Chang, Leo, San Miguel and Tiger or soft drinks.
