Ken from Chiang Mai, opened this venue in Tree Town in Soi Buakhao, in November 2017.
He has called Pattaya his home since 2005.
There are three fully trained chefs and up to seven other staff to take care of their many customers in what can be a busy restaurant.
Kasalong can host up to 40 guests at any time. Customers are welcome to sit outdoors or make use of the rooftop. The building resembles a castle in many ways, so it is distinctive when you are trying to locate it.
It is modern and trendy and a stunning setting, where you can enjoy a northern Thai traditional meal. There is excellent art work on the walls, trees and plants to enhance the setting and traditional Thai light shades all adding to this impressive location.

The first thing you will notice is the presentation of the food is to a high standard. The chefs obviously take great pride in their work.
The menu is predominantly Isan based food and has a varied selection to choose from. If you like Thai cuisine, you are in for a treat here.
You can try Gaeng Poo, Roast Pork Isan style, a variety of curries or a delicious looking Kaeng Hung Ley. Much of the food on offer contains hot spices, so speak to the staff if you want your meal a little less spicy or they can recommend a milder option.
The dishes make use of cooked and raw vegetables, pork, chicken and seafood. You will find omelettes, and other items that westerners enjoy such as fried pork and rice. Noodle lovers have many options or you may like to try one of the satay dishes.
