This spacious cafe can be found on the eastern banks of Lake Map Phrachan, in an area often referred to as the “dark side” of Pattaya. The large lake region plays host to many residents, offering a laid back way of life compared to the hustle and bustle of central Pattaya.
The area does have hotels, bars and restaurants of course and although it attract tourists and expats, it is very much an idyllic location for people to live and visit. It is popular with cyclists and walkers, who strive to get or maintain their fitness levels.
It is around a 30 minute drive from central Pattaya but worth the effort to visit the lake and its surrounding area.
The business is owned by Greg, who has lived in Pattaya since 1990 but originally comes from the UK. He opened the cafe in July 2017 but has been in the catering business for a number of years.
With seating for fifty people and plenty of space for guest to relax and enjoy their meals, this is an ideal location for you to have breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack if you are in the vicinity.
It offers a number or wooden chairs and tables for customers to sit at or you can take your food away and eat at your hotel or bar of your choice.
It has comfortable sofas for visitors to relax on and enjoy a drink or partake of a snack. Fans are strategically located around the venue to maintain a cool temperature for guests.

The walls are of a brickwork effect and the light coloured tiled floor adds to the spaciousness of the venue.
Little House Cafe afford its customers a variety of meals from a comprehensive menu.
Start your day off with one off their affordable breakfast options including the enormous “big breakfast” containing two eggs, two sausages, two slices of bacon, black pudding, hash brown, beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, tea or coffee and orange juice. A breakfast fit for a king and not for the faint-hearted.
They also offer a panini breakfast along with a variety of smaller options, for those of you who prefer a lighter start to your day. Appetisers consist of various soups, breaded mushrooms or shrimp, prawn cocktail and garlic breads to name a few.
The main courses contain many traditional British offerings such as cod and chips, sausage and mash, gammon steak, shepherds pie, pork chop, roast chicken and roast beef.
But there are European options too such as chicken Kiev, beef goulash, chicken parmigiana or maybe you fancy a sirloin steak or mixed grill or even a nice piece of New Zealand lamb.
They also provide an assortment of tasty desserts such as treacle sponge, spotted dick, bread and butter pudding, cheese cakes, jam roly poly, apple pie and various flavours of ice creams.
On Sunday’s they have a traditional roast lunch. A mouth watering menu it has to be said.
Every restaurant needs a good selection of drinks to complement their food and the Little House Cafe has a great selection to choose from.
Bottled beers, spirits, wines, soft drinks and a variety of teas on coffees can all be found on their menu. But they also sell cocktails. Enjoy a black Russian, a Singapore sling, a tequila sunrise, or gin fizz for example.
For the kids amongst you, try one of their smoothies with flavourings like strawberry, pineapple, banana, watermelon, coconut or passion fruit plus many more.
The Little House Cafe has ample parking for cars and motorbikes outside the premises. The owner Greg, operated Greg’s Kitchen in Pattaya for twenty years, so has a wealth of experience behind him.
Laid back middle of the road background music plays gently, providing a tranquil atmosphere as you enjoy your meal. The staff are efficient, welcoming and friendly to ensure you enjoy your experience and return to dine at Little House.
Check out the many chef’s specials advertised daily at the restaurant. You will find everything from sandwiches, burgers, and main courses at different times of the week. They offer a take away service if you are passing by and feel like eating at home or in your hotel/condo.
The venue offers a vast selection of food either from their extensive menu or their daily specials and portions and prices are very reasonable indeed and you can wash it down with one of their many beverages on offer.
The location is sublime, relaxing and ideal for a family day out or with friends.
