The name is a bit of a mouthful but the food on offer is also substantial from this venue, which is owned by Phanporn.
The restaurant has been in existence since 1988, making it one of our longest established listing on Love Pattaya. They employ 15 staff, who generally have been trained on site or like the chefs, have had specific training for the task in hand.
The restaurant is located in the Naklua area of the city, on the corner of Naklua Road and Chawalit Thamrong Alley, a few hundred metres from the famous Dolphin Roundabout. This part of the city is known to be where those who are more affluent tend to live.
You will find the area to be well looked after with some quality hotels and resorts nearby. You still have the wide range of small businesses but the standard of the shops and surroundings is generally very good.
The restaurant is is open but with most of the front under cover from the building above, although there are tables that sit outside. Hedgerows provide privacy for diners down one side, where large ceiling fans offer coolness if and when required.
Inside you will find a pleasant dining area featuring dark wooden tables and matching chairs, in an air conditioned setting but with more ceiling fans, just in case it gets too hot.
The external furnishings change somewhat, possibly as they need to be weather proof but the standard remains high throughout the premises.
So we have a very nice environment to enjoy the cuisine on offer. So let’s take a look at their bill of fare.
The first thing you will be aware of is that this is a German themed venue and the menu follows this trend too. It offers the names of the dishes in German but in the majority of items, there is English descriptions. So there really shouldn’t be any problem understanding the menu. The staff of course always on hand if you need assistance.
The main courses start with items such as Pork Cutlet served with Rice, Roast Pork is a delicious Gravy with a Bread Dumpling or a Goulash accompanied with home made Noodles.
You will discover pastas like Spaghetti Bolognaise amongst others. Breaded Chicken Breast with Rice and Salad, Fish in Breadcrumbs, Austrian Hamburgers, Chicken in Garlic and Lentils with Bacon and Dumplings.
Maybe after you have commenced with one of their soups, you would to sample Pan Fried Liver and Potatoes or one of their salad dishes.
They have an excellent range of Thai food, which is good should you have a Thai partner who isn’t keen of western cuisine or they prefer spicy food.
The menu is comprehensive, with a fair variety of meats, vegetables, noodles and rice options available. You may wish to finish off with a tasty dessert, just to complete your visit.
Customers can select from a selection of coffees and teas, juices, milkshakes or soft drinks.
If you prefer, you can enjoy a cold beer such as Singha, Leo, Tiger or Heineken to name a few. They also have a range of spirits and liqueurs and red or white wines to choose from.
It is always great to see venues that offer an insight into other countries cuisines and for that reason alone, we suggest that this restaurant is worthy of a visit.
The food is of a high standard and there is plenty of options from their menu.
