The Soi 16/1 restaurant in Naklua has been in business since 2010. It offers food from as far afield as Russia, Italy, Japan and of course local cuisine.
There are two chefs and five service staff employed and with the venue having a capacity of up to 48 customers, they are sure to be busy.
The venue has a massive selection of food and drink items to select from, which will become apparent as you read on.
As you approach the restaurant, you will climb three steps to enter the outside, covered dining area, which features many pot plants as part of its decor. The furniture is of a rustic nature, made from carved wood.
There are fans here to provide relief when the temperature becomes too hot for you.
There is further seating inside the venue for those who prefer an air conditioned environment.
You will find a well stocked bar, which should be able to provide you with a drink of your liking to accompany your meal.
The restaurant’s staff will make you feel welcome and the service is fast and efficient.
So we have a decent setting but what food is on offer at this restaurant?
Starting with the breakfast and snack options, you could enjoy an American style early morning meal featuring bacon, eggs, toast, tomato, jam, fruit juice and tea or coffee.
They also have toasties, pancakes, sandwiches and various burgers to satisfy your appetite.
On a diet and watching your figure, then order one of their salads, which offer a range of vegetables, meats and associated salad ingredients.
They have a selection of soups from around the world including goulash, rice, tofu, lobster, Tom Yum, cream of mushroom or a tasty chicken and coconut offering.
They have a vast selection of seafood available. You can select from shrimp in various dishes, snapper, fish in black pepper or garlic or a sweet and sour seafood option, to name only a few of the many items available in this section.
Marinated chicken legs, chicken served with cashew nuts, various steaks cooked to your liking or how about frog’s legs?
They head to Italy to deliver a wide range of pasta dishes for you or a taste of Thailand from some of the popular dishes often seen in this neck of the woods.
Desserts consist of fruit options, crepes, pancakes and ice cream.
The menu is too big to cover in its entirety but rest assured, they will have something to tempt you with.
Like the food menu, their drinks list is also comprehensive. Soft drinks such as Sprite, Fanta and Coke are available or a selection of fruit juices or teas and coffees.
Various flavoured shakes are also on the menu, with banana, mango, mixed fruits or even a papaya shake.
A selection of wines for those who enjoy a bottle of red or white can be ordered too.
If cocktails is your thing, they have around a dozen on offer with Screwdrivers, Majitos, Magic Queen or Blue Ladies being on the list.
Of course you could simply enjoy a cold beer or one of their many spirits and liqueurs if that is more to your liking.
Or why not mix your favourite coffee with a spirit by adding rum or whisky with a touch of whipped cream.
For the non drinkers, alcohol free cocktails are also available.
A cool place to enjoy a tasty meal, washed down with anything from the vast drinks selection.
The menus are filled with tasty options, which will have something for everyone.
