Introduction

Here is a venue for the Russian visitors to Pattaya or for those who wish to sample Russian cuisine in the Walking Street area of the city.

The restaurant opened for the first time back in 1995, suggesting they have a winning formula. The owner Eugene, is a Russian national but has lived in Pattaya since the mid 1990s.

Walking Street needs little in terms of an introduction so its suffice to say it is one of Thailand’s most famous streets and attracts visitors in abundance to the city.

The Venue

This is a large premises, capable of seating around 100 customers at any given time. With so many tables, it is a good location for family gatherings or business meals but still maintains a romantic feel, so is good for couples too.

There is a lot of wood in this building, typically in the form of large support beams running across the ceiling and its doors, bar, shelves and windows. It works very well indeed. The tables, with their deep red and white cloths blend in very well and the occasional plant helps to add greenery to the venue.

Wooden wine racks are on display and three televisions are available, showing sports, news or music videos.

Add a fish tank, some paintings for the walls and you have a charismatic setting for your meal. It really is a lovely restaurant, which is well maintained by the staff.

It would be fair to say they are more of an upmarket eating house based on the standard of decor.

Complements Of The Bar

They have a very good choice or red and white wines from around the world to accompany your meal, draught and bottled beers, gins, whiskies, rums and vodkas along with many other assorted spirits can all be provided from their well stocked bar.

For those who are driving, you can choose from various soft drinks. Or maybe a simple tea or coffee would be to your liking.

Conclusion

Irrespective of where you are from, if you like good food, in stunning surroundings, then this is a must visit restaurant.

The presentation and service are superb so why not venture in and sample the tastes and textures of Russian cuisine at its best.
