Rabi from India has lived in Pattaya since 2002, with the restaurant opening for business around 2004.
There are a dozen staff employed at the here, including three fully trained and experienced chefs, to look after a possible 100 guests, if the venue is full to capacity.
The restaurant is located on Beach Road, between Soi 4 and 5, and with the area being busy with tourist walking to and from the beach or the many bars and shops, they have a good catchment area.
Another bonus for the venue is the regular baht bus service that passes by every few minutes and of course there is always taxi bikes or cars in the vicinity.
The exterior of the premises offers enclosed seating for around eight customers, where you will so see large posters informing you of the food available from their menu. You will notice they offer not only a taste of Indian cuisine but Thai delicacies too, which is stated next to their “welcome” sign.
The premises consists of two units, offering a lot of space in a large setting. The decor is pastel colours, tiled floor with the lighting coming from hanging coloured shades, which provides a lovely ambience in the evenings.
The tables are Formica topped with coloured full chairs coming in greens, reds, pinks and blues.
The air conditioning is assisted by overhead fans to ensure the temperature is maintained at comfortable levels.
Like all good Indian venues, you will find the popular dishes expected from their menu, which is written in both English and Russian.
Colourful and tasty soups such as Vegetable, Tomato, Mushroom and Dal are available to get you started or you could try a Chicken Samosa, Pakora, Fish Tikka or a Kebab to get your meal underway.
They have a special vegetarian section containing Aloo Mutter, Aloo Gobi or Paneer options to name a few, suitable for non-meat eaters.
