This resort lies in the vicinity of Lake Map Phrachan. On Google Maps it shows as Nong Ta Lin Road, which is off Pornprapanimit Road or what many know as Soi Country Club. The area is very much residential, with the occasional restaurant or bar dotted around here or there. It is quiet, with little in the way of traffic, making for a pleasant location for the resort.
Around the lake, you will discover a lot more activity as there are a number of hotels, villas, restaurants and so on and it is very popular with cyclists and walkers.
Siam Country Club is managed by Sean, who hails from Scotland. He has called Pattaya home since 2012.
Opened in 2013, the Siam Country Resort boasts an excellent restaurant and bar, a pond filled with koi carp and a number of bungalows for rent. The location is ideal for those who want to get away from the noise of Pattaya, offering an idyllic place to relax and chill.
Choosing Siam Country Resort for your base would be an excellent decision, for there is so much to do in the area, despite its remote location. For instance, golfers can play at the Siam Country Club Golf course, which is minutes away.
The lakeside area offers visitors an abundance of quality eating houses and bars with a variety of entertainment, should you decide to spend a day or evening out and about.
If you enjoy walking, there are some excellent paths and routes close to the lake and surrounding area. The bar and restaurant are of an open air design and there is a swimming pool you can utilise if you wish to cool down.
The resort has an extensive menu which we will take a look at in more detail. Commencing with the Thai offering you can select from fried noodles with pork, chicken or seafood, omelette with minced pork and rice, stir fried vegetables, shrimp in spicy lemon sauce, tom yum with chicken or seafood, a range of tasty soups and a variety of curries to name a few items just to give you an idea of what is on offer.
Their snack menu offers chip butties, chicken nuggets, spring rolls, garlic bread, French fries and mince pies, which are ideal if you don’t feel like a full blown meal and they have a range of sandwiches for you to choose from too.
Moving onto main courses, you may desire a salad if you are weight watching and again there is a good selection available. Pastas such as spaghetti carbonara and lasagne can be had or how about some Italian meatballs? Why not try one of the Siam Kebabs or a delicious burger in the form of lamb, chicken or Aberdeen Angus varieties. They also have a pulled pork burger too.
Pies come in many varieties with everyone’s favourites steak and kidney and chicken and mushroom, sausage rolls and Cornish pasties.
Moving swiftly on to family favourites like good old fish and chips, bangers and mash, sausage and egg, gammon steak, salmon steak, beef stew and cottage pie. They have a menu specifically for the children so feel free to take the kids along.
As you can see they have a fantastic variety of food for guests to choose from, and portions and prices are very good indeed.
From the bar you can select from wines, beers, spirits, soft drinks or even a tea or coffee, all at reasonable prices. And if you fancy a treat, try one of their draught beers or ciders on offer. Customers are welcome to pull up a stool and sit at the bar, if they prefer to do so.
There are nine rooms available at the resort, all of which feature king size beds, air conditioning, private shower room, fridge and television. They are modern and well maintained.
Ten people are employed by the company, who will welcome you with a friendly smile and ensure your visit is a pleasant one.
For the golfers amongst you, the resort offer arranged golfing trips, taking the hassle out of booking and transportation. Just ask one of the staff for details.
There is ample parking for cars and bikes at the venue. The resorts offer live music from time to time. There is also three televisions, which display an array of sport or music videos.
Siam Country Resort can cater for up to 80 guests at any one time and welcome anyone wishing to host a party or group get together.
This venue is ideal for anyone wishing to enjoy a day out by the lake in tranquil conditions. There bill of fare is well worth sampling and of course, you may fancy a round of golf or an overnight stay.
