Where ever there are bars and nightlife, there’s entertainment and live music! Pattaya is no exception and has many decent music venues and bars that feature live bands.
Walking Street has the most live acts playing from around dusk till dawn. As you first turn onto Pattaya’s most famous street you will find The Stones House on your left. This is a fairly new venue that first opened its doors in the late summer of 2014. It’s a full time live music venue and has 2 resident bands and hosts special Thai Super Star concerts every month or so. This is a great venue and a must visit for all live music fans, Thai and foreigners alike.
Further along Walking Street is Rolling Live 2, this large venue with distinctive neon guitar sign and has been open for well over a decade. The two in house Filipino bands here play a mixture of classic rock and modern pop rock music to entertain the expat and tourist audiences. There are 5 TV’s here also where you can watch your favourite sports and two pool tables that are FREE to use.
Rolling 3 is the sister venue of both Rolling Live 2 and The Stones House. It’s located on Soi 8 off of Beach Road. This is a large full time live music venue also with two in house professional bands and guest Thai Super Star shows every couple of months or so. This venue is particularly popular with expats and foreign tourists as well as local Thai live music lovers.
The Cave is located on the increasingly popular Soi LK Metro. It’s a fab intimate live rock music bar with super priced drinks and a very cool in house band that play all of you favourite rock music hits. It’s the only live music venue on the Soi, which makes a nice change!
Mood Blues Bar is located up on Pratumnak Hill on Soi 6 and has a fantastic resident Blues band, The Blues Machine. This is a venue for those with a discerning ear and appreciation of well-crafted Blues and Rock music. Lam Morrison, Thailand’s king of rock guitar, often plays here.
All of these venues offer great live music every night of the week and concerts are generally free entry too! Well worth checking out music lovers!
