So what does Silverlake offer?

For those not familiar the area known as Silverlake is located a short 15 minutes’ drive from the center of Pattaya and hosts and abundance of riches in terms of amenities and activates, from high end properties, gourmet restaurants and tourist attractions it’s no surprise that the area continues to thrive year after year. Significant investment has gone into the region over the past couple of years with improvements to infrastructure being made by the government in terms of both rail and motorway upgrades to accommodate the increasing number of people both settling and visiting the area.

So what does Silverlake offer?

As previously stated there is a whole host of different family friendly activities to be found in the area and here are just a handful of them.

Ramayana Water Park:

Little needs to be said about this giant water park which in 2018 received top accolades such as being voted the number 1 water park in Thailand and the 12th best waterpark in the entire world. With two dedicated kids zones, giant wave pool, numerous slides and various monthly events and parties it’s easy to see why Ramayana is so popular.

Buddha Mountain:

For those looking to appreciate some Thai culture there is the giant Buddha image which stands at a whopping 130-meters-high. The giant golden image is depicted on the side of a large mountain also known as Khao Cheejan and is visible form miles around. People from all over Thailand and the world flock to the mountain to pay their respects and make merit and just marvel and one of the biggest depictions of Buddha in the entire world.

Pattaya Sheep Farm:

For those with young kids a must visit is the Swiss Sheep farm. Take a trip back to yester year at this themed resort that has hotel facilities; however it is their extensive petting zoo which steals the show. Kids and grownups alike will lose themselves interacting with all manner of farmyard animals including various varieties of sheep, goats, ponies just to name a few.

Nongnooch tropical gardens:

Opened to the public in 1980 the amazing Nongnooch Tropical Gardens are set over a 1,700 rai of land and welcome over 5,000 visitors per day making it one of Pattaya’s most popular tourist attractions. The gardens are now recognized as one of the 10 most beautiful gardens in the entire world.

Silverlake Vineyard:

For those who appreciate a good wine and where it comes from you have the opportunity to explore the Silverlake Vineyard and gardens and sample some world class wines whilst taking in the breathtaking scenery.

Restaurants:

The area also boasts a wide variety of fine dining restaurants including Silverlake wine and grill which has fantastic views out of the lake and an extensive fine dining menu certain to please all customers. Other great restaurants in the area include Ninja BBQ Buffet, Bella Italia and the Pool of Siam resort.

Golfers Paradise:

For those that like to take to the greens Silverlake is the ideal location playing host to an abundance of different courses including Siam Country clubs various courses and Pattaya Country Club.
